My dad’s medical bag, probably not much different from Dr. Flagg’s in
the story. It had compartments for storing medicines, bandages, etc.
Just like Clara in
A Buss from Lafayette, for many years of my childhood I believed that when a doctor
(my dad in particular) went to deliver a baby, it was inside this bag. I wonder if doctors
still carry these.
